It reads the markets and the news behind them, day and night, decides what matters, and tells you in about a minute: the few stories that moved things, why, and what to watch. Today's Read puts the whole day on one page, Research rates more than 500 US companies and the major markets, and you can ask it anything in your own words.

No. PreOpen publishes general information and views about markets, the same for every reader. Ask, its AI analyst, gives general information too, which may include example portfolios built only from what you tell it; it is not a licensed or registered adviser, does not know your full situation and can be wrong. Decisions about your money are yours. The terms say more.

From published news and official sources, which are named and linked under every story, and from market data providers for prices, which refresh often through the trading day; some markets are delayed or shown at their last close. PreOpen uses AI (Claude, made by Anthropic, and Grok, made by xAI, for posts on X and some research briefs) to read the sources and write in plain words, and says so on what it writes. The measurements behind Explore are our own arithmetic on real prices.

Not for most of PreOpen. Without one, everything you set up stays on your phone. Asking Ask a new question needs a free account, since its allowance is per person; answers to questions others asked recently open without one. An account also keeps your holdings safe when you change phones. You sign in with your email address and a code we send to it, with no password, or with Sign in with Apple.

In the app: You, then Your data, then Delete account and data. It removes your account and what is kept with it at once. If you cannot get into the app, write to us from the address you signed in with.

PreOpen Plus is billed by Apple, so you manage it in your Apple account: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then PreOpen. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews, or before a free trial ends, to avoid the next charge; you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple: ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
