Questions
No. PreOpen is research, news and education: general information, the same for every reader. Ask's answers are written by AI, can be wrong, and are not advice from a licensed or registered adviser. PreOpen is not a broker or an investment adviser: it doesn't hold or move money and connects to no brokerage account. Decisions about your money are yours. The terms say more.
From companies' own filings with the SEC, official sources such as central banks and statistics agencies, and published news, named and linked under every story. Prices come from market data providers, including Twelve Data and CoinGecko, and economic figures from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
PreOpen uses AI (Claude, made by Anthropic, and Grok, made by xAI, for posts on X and some research briefs) to read the sources and write in plain words, and says so on what it writes. The scores and fair values are our own arithmetic, worked out by fixed rules.
The scores aren't written by AI. They're worked out by fixed rules from filings, prices, trading and what investors are saying, the same for every stock. AI writes the stories and explanations, and our Guardian reads each one we publish against our data.
Free: the news, Today's Read and Before the Bell, every stock's PreOpen Score, the calendar, Explore, Learn, your portfolio with alerts on your own stocks, and one question a day to Ask, up to five a month.
